AirPods are wireless Bluetooth earbuds created by Apple. In addition to playing audio, AirPods feature a built-in microphone that filters out background noise. Additionally, built-in accelerometers and optical sensors can detect taps and in-ear placement, which enables automatic pausing when they are taken out of the ears.
Challenge
The client requested localization of the advertising clip for the market of several CIS countries (Ukrainian, Georgian, Azeri).
The twist of the task was not only to translate and record the text in foreign languages but also to take into account the features of each language to make the adaptation suitable for the local market.
Solution
The approaches that we used preparing the localized version have helped the product to be perceived in a more natural way.
Thus, localizing the names of the characters we settled upon the traditional names typical of the corresponding language for them not to sound artificially for the target country audience.
Besides, we have arranged the voice talents casting for the Client so that the voices we offered were in full harmony with the style and age of the characters.
